Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Conducts detailed financial reviews and analyzes sponsored agreements, including project periods and payment terms.
  • Updates the financial system with sponsored, cost-share, and third-party accounts.
  • Processes amendments to awards, budget reallocations, and interim reporting from inception to closeout.
  • Prepares and submits financial reports per sponsored agreements and invoices sponsors on behalf of the University.
  • Ensures accurate billing of grant and contract receivables and consolidates federal fund draw requests.
  • Provides regulatory guidance to faculty, administrative units, and staff on sponsored research requirements.
  • Maintains expertise in 2 CFR 200 and related regulations for sponsored research.
  • Reviews cost transfers for sponsored projects and ensures proper recording and execution.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
