Job summary

JVS SoCal is seeking a Budget Manager – Grants/Contracts Billing & Reporting to oversee grant and contract budgeting, invoicing, and reporting. You will work with the Director and program staff to ensure accurate financial oversight and GAAP compliance, supporting the agency’s financial integrity.

The role requires a BA in Accounting and 5+ years of nonprofit/government contracting experience, with strong Excel and NetSuite/Concur skills and meticulous attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Requires BA/BS in Accounting and 5+ years of accounting experience.
• Experience in nonprofit/government contracting environment preferred.
• Familiarity with OMB Uniform Guidance and federal contracting rules a plus.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepares program budgets in line with contracts and grants.
• Participates in monthly close activities.
• Prepares monthly invoices and payment requests to funding agencies.
