Job summary

JASA seeks a Grants Analyst I to oversee the end-to-end grant claiming process, budget monitoring, and financial reporting for a diverse grant portfolio.

You will prepare reimbursements, analyze postings, and create GL entries to reallocate expenses, while coordinating with Program Directors to ensure compliance and accuracy. This role emphasizes accuracy, timely reporting, and collaboration with grantors and auditors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end grant claiming process, budget monitoring, and financial reporting for assigned funding streams.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly expense reimbursement claims and vouchers for local, state, and federal sources.
• Analyze expense postings and post GL journal entries to reallocate expenses as needed.
• Prepare and administer budgets, analyze variances, and draft budget modifications with Program Directors.
• Post accounts receivable entries and maintain a master billing schedule.
