Job summary

Wright State University is seeking a Grants and Contracts Analyst to serve as the Cayuse administrator, overseeing system configuration, user access, and data governance across the grant lifecycle from pre-award through closeout.

You will coordinate with pre-award and post-award teams, assist with proposal submissions and compliance, and develop dashboards and reports to support institutional research administration goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in public administration, business administration, accounting, finance, or a closely related field; OR a bachelor’s in any field with two years of grants management or related experience.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and private sponsor regulations governing research and sponsored programs.
• Experience with writing, editing, and budgeting for proposal development and award management.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work across departments.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Cayuse administrator, managing system configuration, user access, permissions, and data governance.
• Coordinate with Pre-Award and Post-Award teams to support the grant lifecycle from proposal to closeout.
• Produce data reports and dashboards to support compliance, workload tracking, and institutional reporting.
• Provide training and guidance on Cayuse navigation and reporting tools.
