Job summary

The Indiana Department of Health, Office of Grants Administration, seeks a Grants Support Coordinator to provide training and administrative coordination across the grant lifecycle, from planning through closeout.

You will lead quality improvement activities, monitor compliance with federal and state requirements, ensure staff and subrecipients follow procedures and documentation standards, and may supervise staff as needed to support efficient, accurate grant operations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in a similar role applying specialized knowledge in program subject matter.
• Specialized knowledge of program area including pertinent rules and regulations and federal and state laws.
• Ability to communicate orally and in writing and work effectively with a wide variety of stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of accounting and budget principles.
• Ability to delegate work, set clear direction, manage workflow, and develop employee skillsets.

Responsibilities

• The Grants Support Coordinator provides internal and external support for training, administrative coordination, and quality improvement activities related to grant management processes.
• The role ensures staff and subrecipients follow appropriate procedures and documentation standards across the full grant lifecycle.
• The position maintains compliance with federal and state requirements.
• This role may include supervisory responsibilities based on agency needs.
