Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 18 quarter or 12 semester hours in accounting, auditing, or budgeting and one year of relevant professional experience.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Strong proofreading skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to occasionally work additional hours, including evenings and weekends to meet grant submission deadlines.
• Experience successfully meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial analysis, reporting, and budget management in accordance with GAAP.
• Develop fiscal projections, prepare budget reports, analyze financial trends, and support department-wide financial planning.
• Manage key grant administration activities, including proposals, budgets, and account setup.
• Advise faculty, staff, and support personnel on business policies and fiscal procedures related to grants, purchasing, contracts, travel, and research operations.
