UTMB seeks a Finance/Accounting professional to perform financial and operational analyses with an intermediate scope. You will build specialized reports from clinical and financial data to support business, program reviews, and profitability insights.

Responsibilities include budgeting, variance analysis, monthly reconciliations, and assisting investigators with grant budgets and submissions. Strong reporting skills and knowledge of funding mechanisms are essential.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent in related field.
• Preferred qualifications include experience with grants and contracts.

Responsabilidades

• Creates and develops specialized reports utilizing clinical and financial data for business and profitability reviews.
• Performs cost and profit analyses and recommends corrective financial actions.
• Develops systems to improve the financial position of departments.
• Participates in budget planning, analysis, and entry.
• Monitors income and expenses across multiple fund groups to ensure budget compliance.
• Performs variance analyses and reconciles departmental accounts monthly.
• Approves non-PO vouchers and expense reports per UTMB policies.
• Assists principal investigators with grants, budgets, and reporting.
