The University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB Health) seeks a Financial Analyst to perform financial and operational analysis across the institution. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or related field with 2+ years of relevant work experience.
• CPA and/or Masters in Business or related field preferred.
• Candidates with Health Systems/Academic Medicine experience desirable.

Responsabilités

• Coordinates, prepares and analyzes financial and operational reports, statements, scorecards and budgets.
• Analyzes historical and projected data to provide leadership with financial insights.
• Prepares information to support trends for forecasts and management decisions.
• Identifies and uses technology and best practices to improve processes.
• Retrieves and compiles financial data and statistical information.
• Keeps current with industry trends and financial systems to perform essential functions.
• Adheres to internal controls and reporting structure.
• Performs related duties as assigned.
