UTMB Health in Galveston is seeking a Financial Analyst II to support health system finance operations in a hybrid work setting. You will perform financial and operational analysis, budgets, forecasts, and scorecards to guide leadership decisions.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Finance/Accounting with at least 2 years of relevant experience; CPA or Masters preferred. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or related field.
• 2+ years of relevant work experience.
• CPA and/or Master’s Degree preferred.

Responsabilités

• Coordinates and analyzes financial and operational reports, statements, budgets, and forecasts.
• Analyzes historical and projected data to inform leadership decisions.
• Prepares information to support trends and forecasts for management.
• Identifies technology and best practices to improve processes.
• Retrieves and compiles financial data and statistics.
• Keeps current with industry trends and financial systems relevant to job functions.
• Adheres to internal controls and reporting structures.
• Performs related duties as assigned.
