Job summary

Research Foundation of The City University of New York (RFCUNY) seeks a Grants Associate for SPaR to support the full lifecycle of externally funded projects. The role may focus on pre-award, post-award, or both, including proposal development, budgeting, and compliance with donor requirements.

You will collaborate with researchers and administrators to ensure timely, accurate reporting and adherence to regulations, while contributing to grant-related reports and special projects as needed.

Qualifications

• USG and non-USG donor requirements knowledge (NIH, DHHS).
• Customer service orientation with results-driven approach.
• Ability to work in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment.
• Capable of working independently and in a multicultural team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Review funding announcements and guide proposal teams.
• Coordinate preparation and submission of proposals to meet donor/university requirements.
• Assist in budgeting and sub-award packaging for proposals.
• Coordinate with college/university grants officers on multi-site proposals.
• Submit proposal packages through Cayuse or other portals.
