RFCUNY SPaR is hiring a Grants Associate to support the full lifecycle of externally funded projects, from proposal development through award administration and closeout.

The role may focus on pre-award, post-award, or a mix, requiring strong knowledge of USG donor requirements, budgeting, and compliance. The position emphasizes meticulous documentation, collaboration across campuses, and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and at least three years related experience.
• Familiar with USG donor requirements incl NIH/DHHS.
• Ability to work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Pre-award: reviews funding announcements and guides proposal teams.
• Pre-award: coordinates preparation of proposals and budgets.
• Pre-award: supports proposal teams on sub-awards.
• Post-award: assists with hiring and expense reimbursement.
• Post-award: handles procurement needs and reporting requirements.
