Job summary

City of Syracuse seeks a Grants Management Center of Excellence Manager to oversee grant lifecycle, strategy development, and coordination across city departments. You will ensure adherence to SOPs and promote best practices in grant administration.

The role requires strong data analysis, MS 365 proficiency, and the ability to develop reports and dashboards that track awards, expenditures, and performance, while working closely with the Director of Research.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 3 years in grants management or related field.
• Master's degree with 1 year in grants management or related field.
• Experience in public administration or program management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the COE grants management activities across City departments.
• Assist departments in grant application development and submission.
• Develop processes for reporting objectives and performance measures.
• Maintain the City’s SharePoint grants management site for collaboration.
• Prepare reports and dashboards on grant awards, expenditures, and performance.
• Provide technical assistance to City departments throughout grant lifecycle.
