Global Impact is seeking a Grantmaking Operations Intern to support the Campaign Engagement team with grantmaking, fundraising, and Employee Assistance Funds. The role offers hands-on experience in program administration, data analysis, and content development.

This is a 12-week, 20–30 hour hybrid or remote position with some in-office work in Washington, DC. Applicants should be current undergraduates or graduates with strong organizational skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office;

Qualifications

  • Current undergraduate or graduate student with strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Able to manage multiple projects in a collaborative, virtual environment with keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; familiarity with Salesforce and Asana preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support including grant application review, emergency fundraising launches, data analysis, and more.
  • Contribute to Employee Assistance Fund program plan in collaboration with teams across the organization; support business development research, communications, and Salesforce record management.
  • Assist with content production for corporate giving and volunteering programs, EAF newsletters, marketing toolkit updates, and campaign templates.
  • Support marketing and communications by drafting, editing, and publishing content across blogs, emails, presentations, and internal materials.

Job description

As a Grantmaking Operations Intern, you’re a key member of the Campaign Engagement team, with a focus on people-centered programs and program management of grantmaking, fundraising, and Employee Assistance Funds. This role provides hands-on experience in program administration, data analysis, application review, and content development.

Responsibilities
  • Providecritical administrative support, including grant application review, emergency fundraising launches, data analysis, and more.
  • Contribute to the execution of our Employee Assistance Fund(EAF)programplan, collaborating with teams across the organization. Support business development research, communications, and Salesforce record management.
  • Assist withvarious content production, including materials for corporate giving and volunteering programs, EAF bi-weekly newsletter, EAF marketing toolkit updates, new people-centered campaign templates, and more.
  • Supportmarketing and communicationsefforts as needed by drafting, editing, and publishing content across blogs, emails, presentations, and internal materials.
Qualifications

Qualifying for this role means you are a current undergraduate or graduate student with strong organizational and communication skills and an interest in learning new technologies . You are comfortable managing multiple projects and priorities in a collaborative, virtual work environment and have keen attention to detail. You can quickly learn new software, work independently, and handle information with accuracy and professionalism. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, is required . Familiarity with Salesforce, Asana, and application review processes is preferred.

This is a 12 week (or longer) 20-30 hour hybridor remote position that pays $18.40 hourly. Our local team members gather1-2 daysper weekin theWashington, D.C. office headquarters.Visa sponsorship is not available.
