Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 1-3 years nonprofit fundraising or grant writing experience.
• Strong written communication and persuasive writing ability.
• Excellent organizational and administrative systems skills.
• Proficient with Google Suite and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently with reliability and accuracy.
• Effective time management for multiple deadlines.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and organizational skills.
• Experience managing funder relationships and proposals.
• Commitment to mission and serving underserved youth.

Responsibilities

• Write grant proposals and reports meeting funder requirements and deadlines.
• Track grant cycles and renewal to ensure funding continuity.
• Develop budgets with finance team for funders and ensure compliance.
• Research new institutional funders to grow the portfolio.
• Manage relationships with assigned funders and reports.
• Prepare for site visits and support stewardship events.
• Collaborate with staff to pull program data for evaluation.
• Maintain CRM and administrative tasks for grants team.
• Attend meetings and contribute to department tasks.
