Job summary

Jewish Family & Career Services of Atlanta is seeking an organized Grant Writer to develop, write, edit, and manage proposals that secure funding for agency programs, services, infrastructure, and other activities. You will research opportunities across government, foundations, corporate, and philanthropic sources, while coordinating with colleagues to gather data and ensure timely submissions.

The role reports to the Director of Grants & Measurement in the Development department and emphasizes

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Minimum five years of grant writing experience in human services or nonprofit settings.
• Experience with government, foundation, corporate, and philanthropic funding sources.
• Familiarity with grant compliance and reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop, write, edit, and submit grant proposals and renewal applications for various funding sources.
• Research funding prospects and align opportunities with agency priorities.
• Prepare supporting documentation for submissions and maintain funder reports.
• Manage assigned grant portfolio components, deadlines, and stewardship activities.
• Collaborate with departments to gather information and ensure timely, accurate grant materials.
