Job summary

Goodwill North Central Texas seeks a Grants Administrator to identify grant opportunities, draft compelling proposals, and support compliance across funders including foundations, corporations, and government agencies.

You will work with program staff to gather project details, maintain reporting calendars, craft narrative updates, and assist with audits. The role emphasizes clear, persuasive writing, timely deliverables, and cross‑department collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in English, communications, nonprofit management, public administration, or related field.
• Minimum of one year experience producing clear, structured written materials (e.g., reports, proposals, narratives, or technical documentation).
• Knowledge of grant funding processes or nonprofit grant writing preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple deadlines and nonprofit operations.
• Ability to translate complex program information into clear, persuasive narratives.

Responsibilities

• Grant Research & Strategy: research and identify new grant opportunities from foundations, corporations, and government agencies.
• Proposal Development & Editing: draft letters of intent, grant proposals, narratives, and supporting documents; tailor proposals to funder guidelines.
• Grant Reporting & Compliance: maintain reporting calendar; draft reports for Director of Grant Administration and Compliance; ensure funder requirements are met.
• Coordination & Collaboration: work cross-departmentally to gather data, evaluate outcomes, and track project progress; support audits and meetings.
• Administrative Duties: maintain grants calendar, record submissions, and generate internal updates; support Grants and Compliance department.
