Job summary

Family & Children’s Services seeks a Grants Officer to prepare and manage a high volume of grant proposals, reports, and related funding documents. You will collaborate with programs, finance, compliance, data, and executive leadership to develop funding requests and communicate program impact to funders.

You will research opportunities, coordinate submissions, and support continuous improvement within the Grants Team. Strong writing, data analysis, and project management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required
• Master’s degree preferred
• Five years of grant writing/management experience required
• Experience with government, foundation, and corporate grants preferred
• Certifications in fundraising preferred

Responsibilities

• Write, edit, and prepare competitive grant proposals, reports, and related documents
• Analyze data to strengthen proposals and demonstrate program impact
• Coordinate submission requirements and ensure compliance with funder guidelines
• Manage a portfolio of funders and prospects, coordinating submissions
• Collaborate with program leaders, finance, data, and leadership to gather content
• Prepare attachments and narrative components for funders
• Develop outcome statements communicating program success
• Maintain proposal templates and boilerplate language
• Draft impact summaries and stewardship communications
• Monitor deadlines and ensure timely submissions
