Job summary

Mediacom Communications is seeking an Engineer I for Grant Projects to design and upgrade HFC networks, headends, hubs, and relay sites. You will ensure documentation across systems is updated and collaborate with field teams to translate designs into implemented projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications or a similar technical field is required.
• CCNA or CCNP certification preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of network analyst experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• HFC plant, PON and IP Design.
• Estimate via desktop survey to customers.
• Full implementation of design to customers.
• Monitor utilization reports and forecast improvements.
• Maintain proper network documents.
• Travel as needed.
