Job summary

CLEAResult Energetics division seeks a Project Monitor to support the DOE EECBG program, overseeing grant lifecycle, monitoring, evaluations, and compliance. The role covers on-site and desktop supervision, performance tracking, and closeout activities to ensure funded projects meet energy efficiency goals across transportation and buildings.

Qualifications

• Minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience; a Master’s degree may substitute for two years.
• BS/BA in engineering, business administration, environmental sciences, or related discipline; four years may substitute for degree.
• Experience with Federal Government, preferably DOE.
• Experience with financial assistance documentation and tracking systems.
• Experience in documentation disciplines, including technical writing, editing, layout, and desktop publishing.
• Knowledge of modeling, statistics, and operational mathematics to evaluate solutions.
• Experience applying OR principles to investigate, plan, develop, implement, or evaluate systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide project monitoring across the full grant lifecycle, including application and plan review and post-award monitoring.
• Provide both desktop and on-site monitoring support.
• Perform technical evaluations of recipient submissions and identify corrective actions.
• Track milestones, budgets, and technical targets against recipient plans and notify Project Officers of discrepancies.
• Review recipient performance and financial reports for compliance with statutes and terms.
• Support award closeout and QA of closeout documentation.
• Maintain official file documentation in DOE systems.
