Job summary

CLEAResult Energy Sustainability Consulting is seeking a Project Monitor to support the DOE EECBG program, helping local governments and others reduce energy use and emissions across transportation and building sectors. The role involves monitoring the full grant lifecycle, evaluating recipient submissions, and ensuring compliance with award terms.

Minimum four years of relevant experience; a Bachelor\'s in engineering or environmental sciences is required, with a Master\'s substituting for two

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant experience; a Master\'s can substitute for 2 years
• Bachelor of Science or Arts in engineering, business admin, environmental sciences, or related discipline; 4 years may substitute for bachelor
• Experience with the Federal Government, preferably with DOE
• Experience with financial assistance documentation and financial tracking systems
• Experience in documentation disciplines (technical writing, editing, layout, document development and production)
• Basic knowledge of modeling, mathematics, statistics, and operational mathematics to determine solutions
• Experience applying operational research to investigate, analyze, plan, develop, implement or evaluate systems

Responsibilities

• Provide project monitoring across the full grant lifecycle including plan review and post-award monitoring
• Provide desktop and on-site monitoring support
• Perform technical evaluations of recipient submissions and propose refined project requirements
• Track milestones, budgets, and technical targets against recipient plans
• Review recipient performance and financial reports for compliance with terms
• Support award closeout including QA review of closeout documentation
• Maintain official file documentation in DOE systems
