Job summary

Wake County in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Budget and Management Grants Administrator to lead grant planning and monitoring, shape countywide policies, and drive the full lifecycle of grant administration across departments. You will update policies, deliver staff training, and provide technical assistance to ensure funding aligns with strategic priorities.

The role partners with the Grants Team and the County Manager’s Office to maximize funding, support major initiatives, and secure CDS/CPF

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Public Administration or a related field.
• Four years in finance, budgeting or policy analysis with grant management exposure.
• Equivalent education and experience are accepted.

Responsibilities

• Lead the ongoing development of County grant policies and procedures and assess program impact.
• Review County grant applications to ensure alignment with strategy and funder guidelines.
• Co-manage the grant lifecycle with the Finance Department to track and close grants.
• Provide training and guidance to departments on grant processes, budgeting, monitoring and reporting.
