Job summary

Metropolitan Community College seeks a Program Development Coordinator to support the NeMAC program’s design, implementation, and operational oversight. This on‑campus role coordinates partners, timelines, and reporting to ensure grant objectives are met.

The position monitors data, onboarding, and participant support while collaborating with instructors and staff to boost persistence and employment outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in public administration, social work, nonprofit management, project management, or related field.
  • Two years of demonstrated experience in program implementation, project management or business development.
  • Experience supervising staff or volunteers.

Responsibilities

  • Supports design, implementation and oversight of the NeMAC program, including timelines, milestones and deliverables.
  • Coordinates communication among internal departments, instructors, employer partners, community organizations and stakeholders.
  • Maintains project workplans, schedules and internal reporting tools.
  • Tracks participant, credential, and employment-related data with college staff.
  • Prepares reports, updates and documentation for leadership, partners, and funding entities.
  • Leads participant onboarding and ongoing communication to clarify expectations and next steps.
  • Collaborates with staff to improve participant persistence, completion and transition to employment or further study.
  • Manages program budget, contracts, purchasing, resource planning and reporting.
  • Serves as primary liaison for participants, providing guidance and referrals to college resources.
