Metropolitan Community College in Omaha seeks a Re-entry Peer Mentor to provide ongoing, individualized student support, assess progress and intervene to help participants persist toward their education goals.
The role partners with program staff, faculty, and other campus resources to ensure access to programming and successful outcomes, including data collection for grant reporting and ongoing retention efforts.
Classification Regular Minimum Pay $19.81 Compensation will be commensurate with the level of the position, education, and experience.
The Re-entry Peer Mentor provides ongoing, individualized student support services designed to help program participants persist and successfully complete their education and training goals. The position works with program staff, faculty members and other staff throughout the College to continually assess students’ progress, implement helpful interventions and track individual outcomes.

That year, the programs, personnel, assets and liabilities of the former Omaha Nebraska Technical Community College Area merged with the Eastern Nebraska Technical Community College Area under a new name: the Metropolitan Technical Community College Area. In 1992, the Legislature voted to change the name to Metropolitan Community College Area.
