Job summary

College Achieve Paterson Charter is seeking a Grant Project Director to oversee the 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) program in Paterson, NJ. You will manage the grant-funded educational program, finance, compliance, and reporting to NJDOE, while coordinating staff, partners, and evaluators to achieve program outcomes.

The role requires strong organizational and leadership skills, experience with multi-site coordination, and a commitment to high-quality enrichment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required from an accredited college or university.
• Experience in education, youth development, program administration, grant-funded programming, nonprofit management, or related field.
• Experience coordinating programs with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and project-management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate documentation and comply with policies and reporting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with technology and data-management systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation of the 21st CCLC program per grant application, goals, and NJDOE requirements.
• Monitor activities to ensure alignment with program design.
• Oversee program budget and expenditures.
• Ensure all grant deliverables and timelines are met.
• Submit required programmatic and fiscal reports to NJDOE on deadlines.
• Support sustainability planning and long-term capacity building.
• Maintain participant files, forms, licenses, and documentation.
• Develop and maintain attendance policies, health and safety plans, and calendars.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, district, and grant requirements.
• Maintain systems for documentation, monitoring, and accountability.
• Oversee data entry into required data-collection systems.
• Collaborate with evaluators and stakeholders to monitor outcomes.
