Barrington Stage Company in Pittsfield, MA seeks an Institutional Giving Manager to lead private foundations, government and corporate grant writing, and to grow the Business Partner program within our Development team. Reporting to the Director of Development, the manager cultivates relationships, manages grant cycles and events such as galas, and helps expand philanthropic partnerships with the Berkshire community.

Qualifications

• Grant writing experience with a proven track record.
• A self-starter who can drive projects forward and meet deadlines.
• Impeccable organization with acute attention to detail.
• Willingness to work evenings/weekends, especially May–October.
• Knowledge and passion for theater and the local Berkshire community a big plus.

Responsabilités

• Steer all grants through the application process from research to strategy, drafting, submission and follow-up reporting.
• Track annual grantor calendar and maintain communications with existing and potential grantors, including meetings and site visits.
• Research and identify new government, private and corporate grant sources.
• Develop and manage the growing Business Partner Program and maintain donor relationships.
• Determine and ensure the delivery of Business Partner Benefits.
• Assist with oversight of Galas, openings and cultivation events; assist with cultivation and solicitation of individuals, corporations and businesses.
