Job summary

Colorado State University is seeking 1–2 temporary Proposal Research Project Managers to support pre-award operations. The role involves coordinating complex budgets, preparing proposal materials, and liaising with multiple CSU colleges and external sponsors.

Flexibility in appointment type (part-time to full-time) and work arrangement (remote/hybrid) is expected based on experience and needs. The RPM reports to the Director of Pre-award Support in the Walter Scott, Jr.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or an equivalent combination of education/experience.
• Two years of related professional experience.
• Experience presenting and communicating with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Researches and coordinates preparation of scientific proposals for federal, state, international sponsors.
• Prepares budgets and budget justifications ensuring compliance.
• Coordinates project cost share requirements across CSU colleges and collaborating institutions.
• Works with Office of Sponsored Programs to meet submission requirements.
