Job summary

Business and Financial Operations seeks a Government Operations Consultant II to serve as a Grant Manager for the Rebuild Florida program, managing subrecipient agreements under Hurricane Michael and Hurricane Ian Hazard Mitigation Grant programs.

The role requires negotiating agreement changes, conducting compliance reviews, maintaining project files, and providing technical assistance to subrecipients while coordinating with FloridaCommerce to support disaster recovery in partnership with HUD.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand and apply CDBG-DR program rules and HUD requirements
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), Adobe, and the Internet
• Strong communication, time management, and critical thinking skills
• Knowledge of Florida laws, public records requirements, and Rebuild Florida program eligibility
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with internal and external partners
• Level 2 security background screening required as condition of employment
