Job summary

The Florida Department of Environmental Protection seeks a Government Operations Consultant II in Tallahassee to conduct organizational studies and support grant management for resilience programs. You'll work with regional coordinators, budget teams, and DEP leadership to ensure efficient administration of grants and compliance with state and federal guidelines.

Qualifications

• Florida Certified Contract Manager or ability to obtain certification within 6 months of hire.
• Knowledge of federal grant systems (Grants.gov, SAM.gov, eRA Commons, ServiceNow, CAMMP, GrantSolutions, TRACS, EasyGrants, EPA grant management system).
• Knowledge of Florida State Government systems (FLAIR/FIN/PALM, ARIBA, P-Card Works, ELFF, STMS, People First, FACTS).
• Ability to prepare correspondence and administrative reports; communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Valid driver's license
• Background and fingerprint check clearance
