This Government Operations Consultant II position works as a Grant Manager.

This position is specifically responsible for tasks including:

• Plans, facilitates, and assists in the negotiation of agreement changes, amendments, coordinates the development of cost and price analysis, conducts agreement and files post-audits and closeout, completes the agreement checklists, facilitates findings of fact and resolves agreement disputes. Updates tracking systems and maintains agreement logs in accordance with department policy and procedures and to ensure compliance with applicable statutory requirements.
• Serves as a Grant Manager for subrecipient agreements awarded under the Hurricane Michael and Hurricane Ian Hazard Mitigation Grant Match programs.
• Maintains subrecipient files for assigned projects.
• Acts as subject matter expert providing guidance across programs for various processes and deliverables including scope of work creation, QPR reporting, and ensuring compliance with all federal guidelines during life of subrecipient process.
• Acts as a liaison between Commerce and consulting firm.
• Conducts desktop and onsite review of activities and expenditures of assigned projects to ensure compliance with state guidelines and contract requirements.
• Works to standardize processes by creating various document templates.
• Serves as member of the review process for subrecipient reimbursements to ensure accuracy and compliance.
