  • Ensuring that program and grant expenses stay within the allocated budget, while reviewing budgets to ensure proper recording of expenses. Additionally, researching analytical trends and leading ongoing assessments of business processes and practices.
  • Review and monitor budget and expenses to ensure fiscal responsibility and accuracy
  • Analyze financial trends and make recommendations for budget adjustments to be submitted to the Funds Finance division for review.
  • Monitor and track cycles and ensure that budgets are up to date
  • Collaborate with the Funds central Finance Division and other departments in preparation of financial projections and to ensure accurate budgets for various departments
  • Prepare and present budget reports to program senior management to be submitted to the Funds Finance division for review.
  • Monitor and track budget performance and adjust as needed to be submitted to the Funds Finance Division.
  • Identify areas for cost savings and ensure cost-effectiveness
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and regulations in accordance with the Funds Finance Division
  • Perform additional duties and project assigned by management

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent years of experience required
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in budget management preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of budgeting and financial analysis

  • Proficient in the use of multiple accounting and budgeting software
  • Able to work independently and prioritize tasks
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
