Position Title: Grant Lifecycle Specialist

Position Overview
The net.America Corporation is seeking candidates as Grant Lifecycle Specialist candidates to work on a potential government contract.Candidates will be responsible for providing end-to-end operational and administrative support across the entire federal grant lifecycle.This position supports program offices in managing pre-award competitions, award processing, post-award monitoring, compliance tracking, technical assistance coordination, and grant closeout.
Key Responsibilities
Pre-Award & Award Management
- Assist program offices in preparing Notice of Award (NOA) packages, Funding Opportunity Announcements (FOAs), and competitive grant application review materials.
- Facilitate panel review logistics, intake of applicant submissions, compliance screening, and scoring documentation.
- Prepare award documentation, commitment notices, and grant agreement files in compliance with the Uniform Guidance (2 CFR 200) and DOL regulations.
Post-Award Administration & Monitoring
- Track grantee milestones, quarterly progress reports (QPRs), and Federal Financial Reports (SF-425).
- Assist Federal Project Officers (FPOs) with desk reviews, performance monitoring, compliance verification, and tracking corrective action plans.
- Process formal grant modification requests (e.g., budget realignments, period of performance extensions, key personnel changes, and scope adjustments)
Grant Closeout & Financial Reconciliation
- Conduct administrative and financial closeout activities for expired grants within statutory and agency timelines (e.g., 90-120 days post-expiration).
- Reconcile final financial expenditures against drawdown data in the Payment Management System (PMS).
- Ensure receipt of all required deliverables, property disposition reports, final audit certifications, and de-obligation packages.
Data Management, Systems & Reporting
- Maintain accurate grant records across DOL and federal systems.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Public Administration, Business Administration, Finance, Education, or a related discipline.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of direct experience supporting federal grants management across the full grant lifecycle (pre-award, award, post-award, and closeout).
- Knowledge Base: Strong working knowledge of federal grant regulations, including 2 CFR 200 (Uniform Guidance), Federal Acquisition principles, and federal reporting standards.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and federal grant management platforms/databases.
- Communication: Excellent written and oral communication skills, with experience preparing executive summaries, formal correspondence, and standard operating procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct experience supporting DOL programs.
- Certified Grants Management Specialist (CGMS) or equivalent federal grants credential.
- Clearance/Suitability: Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal Public Trust Clearance.
- Compile data and generate recurring monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc status reports for leadership.

Pay: $73,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
