Job summary

The Governor’s Office of Economic Development (GOED) in Carson City, Nevada seeks a Grant Analyst to research funding opportunities, draft proposals, and coordinate the grant application process. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in public administration, finance, business, or related field.
• 3 years of federal grant management experience.
• Experience monitoring and evaluating grant performance and compliance.
• Experience in proposal development and budgeting, with success securing federal grants.

Responsibilities

• Assist with grant development and writing, identifying funding opportunities and managing submissions.
• Monitor grant performance metrics to maximize federal assistance.
• Track grant applications for compliance with regulations and deadlines.
• Identify strategies to expand opportunities for federal assistance and improve administration.
• Develop project plans with timelines, resources, risk management and milestones.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and maintain clear communication and accountability.
• Prepare regular status reports for leadership and stakeholders and assist with fiscal tracking and audits.
• Analyze data and prepare performance and financial reports for federal agencies.
