The candidates should possess a foundational understanding of state or federal grant processes, project management, and fiscal analysis. As part of their professional development, successful candidates will receive mentorship and collaboration opportunities with team members and stakeholders across various departments. This includes working closely with program managers and financial analysts, to seek out and apply for rail transportation grants. The incumbent’s ability to communicate, provided proficient analyses to team members, fostering a collaborative work environment where information exchange and collective solution-building are emphasized and essential for success in this position.
