Job summary

Colorado Mountain College seeks a combined TRIO Student Support Services Coordinator and Student Engagement & Success Coordinator. The role spans two areas with hours that may fluctuate to meet student needs.

This is a grant-funded position contingent on continued funding. The incumbent provides educational advising, career/life planning, and assistance with registration and support services for eligible students, and works with campus leadership to maximize student success and retention.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in education, counseling or related field with relevant experience.
• Experience working with first-generation, low-income or disabled students.
• Demonstrated ability to administer assessments and provide counseling.

Responsibilities

• Provide educational advising and career/life planning for students.
• Assist with registration processes and support services for SSS participants.
• Advise and create academic plans for program participants.
• Coordinate workshops, tutoring and peer mentoring programs.
• Collaborate with SSS coordinators at other campuses for transfer visits.
• Engage with targeted students to maximize success, retention and completion.
