Job summary

Ocean County College seeks a SCC5 Project and Outreach Coordinator to provide administrative, operational, and project coordination support for the Strengthening Community Colleges Training Grant. You will assist with recruitment, outreach, and event activities to expand participation in healthcare programs and maintain project plans, records, and financial documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with minimum 3 years in admin, coordination, outreach, or workforce development; or an Associate’s degree with minimum 5 years’ experience.
• At least one year of project leadership with accountability.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills; ability to engage with diverse audiences.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and cloud-based collaboration and data management tools.
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva and social media platforms.
• Ability to meet flexible schedule including evenings/weekends; travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day coordination of SCC5 grant activities with timelines.
• Track milestones, organize docs, assist grant reporting using AGS Prime and Office 365.
• Maintain records for participant tracking, compliance, and internal reporting in AGS Prime.
• Coordinate communications and logistics with departments, partners, and stakeholders.
• Create and maintain dashboards for project plans.
• Maintain internal budget tracker for procurement and financial records.
• Represent SCC5 at community events and career fairs to build partnerships.
• Track outreach data in AGS Prime and CRM systems.
• Plan and coordinate BILT meetings and healthcare pathway activities.
• Research labor market info related to healthcare.
• Perform other duties to support SCC5 grant objectives.
