Job summary

Dorchester County Public Schools is accepting applications for an Instructional Assistant-HQ for the 2026-2027 school year at Maple Elementary School in Cambridge, Maryland. Qualifications

• Experience in a classroom setting preferred.
• Ability to support students with diverse needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers with individual and small-group instruction.
• Obtain and return daily lessons to keep students current.
• Monitor attendance, behavior, and academic progress.
• Apply instructional strategies to meet objectives as needed.
• Participate in staff in-service programs and meetings.

Education

Associates Degree or 48 college credits
