Job summary

Fort Worth ISD is seeking Demonstration Teachers in High School Mathematics to support Title I initiatives and raise student achievement. The role is campus-based and focuses on modeling best practices, coaching teachers, and delivering standards-aligned, data-driven instruction.

Responsibilities include leading PLCs, coordinating professional development, and expanding mathematics capacity across grade levels through on-site coaching and demonstrations aligned to district materials.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Valid Texas Teaching Certification required.
• ESL or Bilingual Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teaches 1–2 standard class periods as teacher of record.
• Maintain class roster meeting district requirements.
• Provide instructional coaching and model lessons campus-wide.
• Lead professional learning communities with campus staff.
• Support teachers with data-driven instruction and interventions.
• Develop and implement on-campus professional development and PLC activities.
