Job summary

Fort Worth ISD seeks a Mathematics Teacher to work on a campus-based assignment. You will teach 1–2 STAAR-tested periods as the teacher of record and provide lab-style instruction for on-the-job professional development.

You will collaborate with campus leaders to deliver professional learning, support high-quality materials, and use data-driven coaching to accelerate student achievement. This is a grant-funded role contingent on funds.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor's degree in Education or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 3 years teaching experience in secondary Mathematics with track record of achievement preferred.
• ESL/Bilingual certification preferred; strong English usage and classroom management skills.

Responsibilities

• Teaches 1–2 standard class periods as the teacher of record for lab observation.
• Maintains roster meeting TIA requirements.
• Provides professional learning and on-the-job coaching to campus teachers.
• Leads and participates in PLCs and collaborative planning.
• Uses data to guide interventions and support student growth.
