Job summary

Clear Creek School District RE-1 is seeking an Early Literacy Coach responsible for supporting scientifically-backed reading instruction for preschool to third-grade students. This temporary position requires collaboration with teachers to enhance literacy outcomes, using data-driven practices and providing professional development aligned with the Colorado READ Act.

The ideal candidate will have experience in early literacy, a solid understanding of teaching strategies, and strong coaching skills. The role includes managing grant compliance and facilitating effective communication with families.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of successful teaching experience in early literacy (PK-3).
• Demonstrated knowledge of the Colorado READ Act.
• Experience using literacy assessment systems and data to inform instruction.

Responsibilities

• Support compliance with the Colorado READ Act requirements.
• Ensure fidelity of evidence-based reading instruction.
• Assist in identifying students with Significant Reading Deficiencies.
• Provide job-embedded coaching aligned to structured literacy practices.
