JobAps in Maryland is seeking an extended learning opportunities specialist to lead and provide technical assistance for summer and after-school programs funded by 21st Century Community Learning Centers. The role supports Maryland’s LEAs and grant recipients while promoting networking among similar programs.

The position emphasizes leadership in monitoring, program design, evaluation, and professional development, with a hybrid schedule and preparation for state-level reporting requirements.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or 36 credit hours post-baccalaureate from an accredited college or university.
• Four years of administrative or teaching experience in, or affiliated with, an education program.
• Two years of experience in writing, reviewing or managing State or Federal grants.
• Project management, training development, and reporting experience are preferred.

Responsabilités

• Serves as the technical specialist for monitoring 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) funded afterschool programs.
• Provides leadership, managerial direction, and technical assistance to local recipients of the 21st CCLC funded grants.
• Assists in the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of after school programs designed to improve the academic achievement of disadvantaged children.
• Provides professional development to 21st CCLC grantees in Maryland’s 24 LEAs.
