South Carolina Department of Commerce (S.C. Commerce) seeks a detail-oriented professional to support the Business Incentives and Community Development division with grant compliance, reporting, repayments, and related documentation.

The role involves preparing incentive summaries, tracking commitments, verifying certifications, and handling grant-related inquiries and special requests from leadership. Time-limited project position with benefits is offered.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Prefer extensive experience with economic development, data, reporting, and databases.

Mansioni

• Provide support for the CCED and GBD as needed, including preparing incentive summaries under CCED Counsel supervision and entering commitments for grants offered.
• Track, document and report on company performance against commitments for economic development grants, including tracking compliance dates and sending reminders.
• Verify certification materials submitted by companies for economic development grants, determine next steps, and communicate with the company in writing and verbally.
• Track and process grant repayments and annual maintenance reports.
• Process applications for Port Volume Increase Tax Credit and Increase in Agricultural Tax Credits programs administered under CCED.
• Handle special requests of the Director or Deputy Director of the Business Incentives Division.
