Job summary

Washington County Community College is seeking a Grant & Program Manager to lead grant research, writing, management and compliance. The role includes serving as the primary grant contact and supporting institutional research with grant data for planning and reporting.

The position requires strong organizational, analytical, and project management skills, with some evening/weekend work possible. Salary is commensurate with credentials and experience.

  • Experience in grant writing and administration.
  • Strong budgeting, data analysis, and reporting skills.

Grant & Program Manager

Full time

Washington County Community College is seeking a highly motivated and talented professional with a strong work ethic to serve as Grant & Program Manager. This position is responsible for researching grant opportunities, making recommendations to college leadership, writing and managing grants, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, regional, and other grant requirements. The Grant & Program Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for grant-related activities and will support the College’s institutional research efforts by establishing and maintaining grant-related data used for planning, reporting, and decision-making. The successful candidate will have experience in grant writing, grant administration, program management, strategic planning, budgeting, resource management, and management reporting. The position requires the ability to interpret and apply policies and procedures, manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and follow through on assignments with minimal supervision. Strong organizational, communication, analytical, and project management skills are essential. Some evening and weekend work may be required.

Salary Range: MEA Administrators Unit/salary commensurate with credentials and experience $48,243 to $54,297

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field, and two to four years’ experience working in a program and/or with databases.
