Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Grant accounting experience required.
• Experience preparing journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Strong financial reporting and documentation skills.
• Knowledge of restricted funds and grant compliance requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage financial activity related to grants and restricted funding sources.
• Track grant expenditures and ensure compliance with funding requirements.
• Prepare and post journal entries.
• Perform account reconciliations and maintain supporting schedules.
• Prepare grant-related financial reports and supporting documentation.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close activities.
• Monitor grant budgets and expenditures to ensure proper accounting treatment.
• Support internal and external audit requests.
• Maintain accurate financial records and grant documentation.
• Collaborate with program and operational teams to ensure accurate reporting.
• Assist with special accounting projects as needed.
