Key Responsibilities (Grant Accountant)
- Oversee financial tracking, accounting, and reporting activities for assigned grants and funding sources
- Monitor grant-related expenses and ensure compliance with grant agreements and funding guidelines
- Assist with accounting and reporting requirements for HUD and other federally funded programs
- Contribute to the preparation and support of the Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards (SEFA)
Qualifications (Grant Accountant)
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- Prior accounting experience, preferably within nonprofit organizations, grant-funded programs, or government-funded environments
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple reporting deadlines and funding requirements
