Job summary

Rock River Lumber & Grain DBA Frary Lumber is seeking a motivated Grain Yard Operator to join our team. This full-time role supports outdoor grain operations, including receiving, drying, unloading, and inventory control.

You will monitor grain conditions, blend as needed, and perform equipment maintenance while ensuring safety and quality standards. The job requires teamwork and reliable performance in varied weather.

Qualifications

• Candidate must have a valid state driver’s license.
• Prefer 1 year of related experience in grain handling or agriculture.
• Demonstrates mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn equipment operation and maintenance.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds; comfortable working outdoors in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all aspects of grain elevator and outside grain operations.
• Receive, dry, and unload grain; measure and monitor inventory.
• Maintain grain conditions by testing temperatures and blending as needed.
• Operate and assist with maintenance of grain handling equipment and facilities.
