Job summary

Ray-Carroll County Grain Growers, Inc. is seeking a full‑time, non‑exempt grain handler for our Grain Department.

You will receive, ship, handle and monitor grain, perform preventative maintenance, and help with housekeeping to keep the facility running safely and efficiently. This role requires safe operation of heavy machinery, ability to work outdoors in all weather, flexibility for early mornings or late evenings, and a commitment to DOT rules and company policies.

Qualifications

• Reliable vehicle to drive to and from work.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• 20/20 vision in both eyes with corrective lenses (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Receive, ship, handle and monitor grain; perform preventative maintenance and housekeeping.
• Operate equipment and vehicles per company policies and applicable laws.
• Assist in grain inventory and positioning to maximize value.
• Coordinate inbound/outbound grain activities and communicate with supervisors.
• Maintain inventory and maintenance records in the documentation system.
• Work overtime as needed and ensure safety compliance at all times.
