Job summary

Eurofins Grain Inspection in Indiana is seeking a Grain Inspector to support farmers, strengthen rural communities, and keep America's food supply moving.

You will test and grade grain samples for moisture, weight, foreign material and mycotoxins; record results, communicate with truckers, merchandisers, and farmers; maintain lab flow and support grain operations; act as backup sampler and handle related paperwork while staying up to date on USDA standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 0–3 years of related experience is a plus.
• Ability to stand or sit for long periods, lift up to 15 pounds, and navigate stairs.
• Strong attention to safety and quality, with customer-service mindset.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Test and grade grain samples for moisture, weight, foreign material, mycotoxins, and other traits.
• Accurately record and communicate results to drivers, merchandisers, and farmers.
• Maintain sample flow through the lab and support grain operations.
• Serve as backup sampler/prober and handle related paperwork.
• Act as liaison between Eurofins, farmers, and grain companies.
• Keep the lab clean, safe, and compliant with health, safety, and environmental guidelines.
• Stay updated on USDA grain standards.
• Work collaboratively in a small-team setting.
