Job summary

Eurofins Grain Inspection is seeking a Grain Inspector to support farmers and keep America’s food supply moving. You will test and grade grain samples for moisture, weight, foreign material, and more, recording results and communicating them to drivers and farmers.

The role involves maintaining lab flow, backup sampling, and ensuring compliance with USDA standards. You’ll work in a lab setting within an industrial facility, with a schedule that may include some Saturdays during harvest, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; related experience a plus (0–3 years).
• Comfortable standing or sitting for long periods and able to lift up to 15 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Test and grade grain samples for moisture, weight, foreign material, mycotoxins, non-GMO traits, and more
• Accurately record and communicate results to truck drivers, merchandisers, and farmers
• Maintain sample flow through the lab and support smooth grain operations
• Act as a backup sampler/prober and handle all related paperwork
• Serve as a trusted liaison between Eurofins, farmers, and grain companies
• Keep the lab clean, safe, and compliant with health, safety, and environmental guidelines
• Stay up to date on USDA grain standards
• Contribute to a collaborative, ethical work environment that values every team member
