Job summary

Eurofins Grain Inspection seeks a Grain Inspector in Indiana to test and grade grain for moisture, weight and quality. You will report results to truck drivers, merchandisers, and farmers, ensuring accuracy and timely communication. This role operates in a lab setting within an industrial facility, emphasizing safety and efficiency.

You’ll support grain operations, stay updated with USDA standards, and collaborate with farmers and grain companies to maintain a reliable supply chain.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0-3 years related experience is a plus.
• Able to stand or sit for long periods, lift up to 15 pounds.
• Safety-conscious in lab and field tasks.

Responsibilities

• Test and grade grain samples for moisture, weight, foreign material, mycotoxins, non-GMO traits, and more.
• Accurately record and communicate results to truck drivers, merchandisers, and farmers.
• Maintain sample flow through the lab and support grain operations.
• Serve as a liaison between Eurofins, farmers, and grain companies.
• Keep the lab clean, safe, and compliant with health, safety, and environmental guidelines.
