Job summary

Eurofins Grain Inspection in Blair, Nebraska, is seeking a dedicated Grain Inspector to join our lab. You will test and grade grain samples for moisture, weight, foreign material, mycotoxins, and non-GMO traits, helping farmers receive fair value and maintain supply chain integrity.

You’ll record results, communicate with truck drivers and farmers, mentor new inspectors, and stay compliant with USDA standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0–3 years of related experience is a plus.
• Strong computer proficiency (Excel, Outlook) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Test and grade grain samples for moisture, weight, foreign material, mycotoxins, and non-GMO traits.
• Record and communicate results to truck drivers, merchandisers, and farmers.
• Maintain sample flow through the lab and support smooth grain operations.
• Act as a backup sampler/prober and handle related paperwork.
• Stay up to date on USDA grain standards and emerging agricultural trends.
